BTW, did you know that with a graduate assistantship you do not have to pay tuition and they give you a stipend?? I hope you’ve already discovered this. That’s how I got through grad school and basically only paid for books.
I don’t think there is a way to “teach” to attract people to learning another language–it’s a value that one either has or doesn’t.
Learning another language is a value, a way of thinking. How do we change peoples’ thinking?? That’s the bigger question.
