Though my explorations of bicultural/bilingual experiences may allude to, or state quite blatantly, general perceptions about Latinxs/People of Color and/or individuals who share the same deficit ideologies by the dominant group in the U.S., I by no means intend to offend anyone reading my blog. In addition, I consider my posts mere attempts to better understand why we communicate or hold certain ideals about one another. My main objective is to gain a better understanding, both personally and professionally, about MY bilingual and bicultural experiences as I mentioned in the category titled, “About my blog”
*This applies to any other social media venues (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) I use to express MY experiences, perspectives, & observations.
HI,
I just found your blog and I find what you write of total interest. We share the same mission of creating a true bilingual nation. I’m not writing just to plug our blog, but to honestly invite you over to check it out because I believe we can find strength in numbers. I’d love to explore the possibility of you collaborating with us since you approach this at an academic level.
Hope to keep in touch.
Ana
